Nearing the 500,000 BTC Milestone

This latest acquisition brings the company’s total Bitcoin reserves to 499,226 BTC, accumulated at an overall cost of about $33.1 billion. The firm’s average purchase price per Bitcoin, including fees and other expenses, stands at roughly $66,360.

With just 774 BTC left to hit the significant 500,000 BTC mark, the company is inching closer to a historic milestone.

Record-Low BTC Purchase

Despite Bitcoin recently dropping below $80,000, marking a multi-month low, this purchase is noticeably smaller than the company’s previous acquisitions. It also marks the smallest Bitcoin buy ever publicly disclosed by the firm.

Previously, the smallest BTC acquisition on record was a 169 BTC purchase in August 2024, according to official filings.

So far in 2025, the company has added a total of 51,656 BTC across seven separate transactions.

Progress Toward BTC Gain Goals

Having spent approximately $4.4 billion on Bitcoin acquisitions since the start of 2025, the company has recorded a Bitcoin dollar gain of $2.6 billion year-to-date.

The “BTC $ Gain” indicator—measuring the total value of Bitcoin gains based on market fluctuations—currently sits 74% away from the firm’s 2025 target of $10 billion.

By the end of 2024, the company had reported a BTC $ Gain of $13.8 billion, with a Bitcoin yield peaking at an impressive 74%.
