Blockware Predicts Bitcoin Surge to $150K-$400K in 2025 Driven by SBR and Federal Reserve Policies

Bitcoin’s price in 2025 could soar up to four times its current value or, at the very least, grow by 58%, depending on former President Donald Trump’s approach to a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and the Federal Reserve’s monetary policies, according to insights from crypto mining firm Blockware Solutions.

2025 Bitcoin Outlook: Bear Case Scenario

Blockware’s latest market report, released on Dec. 28, outlines a conservative estimate where Bitcoin could rise by 58%, reaching $150,000 from its current level of $94,981.

This “bear case” could materialize if Trump’s administration fails to act on establishing the much-anticipated Strategic Bitcoin Reserve early in his term. The crypto industry has been closely watching for such a move, with many hopeful for decisive action.

Qries

Jack Mallers, CEO of Strike, predicts that Trump may issue an executive order on his first day in office, designating Bitcoin as an official U.S. reserve asset.

However, Blockware notes that a sluggish price trajectory could also result from the Federal Reserve tightening its monetary policy rather than cutting rates, combined with long-term Bitcoin holders—those who have held BTC for more than 155 days—offloading their assets in significant volumes.

Base Case and Bullish Potential

Blockware’s “base case” projection estimates Bitcoin hitting $225,000 by 2025, assuming the U.S. government actively leverages its Bitcoin holdings as part of a Strategic Reserve, the Federal Reserve continues easing rates, and corporate interest in Bitcoin remains strong.

For a more optimistic outcome, Blockware predicts a “bull case” scenario where Bitcoin could reach an extraordinary $400,000. This assumes the best-case alignment of three key factors:

  1. A highly accommodative monetary policy from the Federal Reserve.
  2. Accelerated corporate adoption, including Bitcoin being added to the balance sheets of one of the “Magnificent 7” companies — Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia, or Tesla.
  3. A U.S. government decision to not only transform its current Bitcoin holdings into a Strategic Reserve but also acquire additional Bitcoin.

Hurdles to a $400K Bitcoin

Challenges remain for the $400,000 price target. For example, Microsoft shareholders recently rejected a proposal to include Bitcoin on the company’s balance sheet during a Dec. 10 annual meeting.

Additionally, experts like Alex Thorn, head of research at Galaxy Digital, are skeptical of the U.S. government making major Bitcoin purchases in the near term. In a Dec. 27 report, Thorn stated that while discussions around a Bitcoin reserve policy may progress, the U.S. is more likely to rely on its existing Bitcoin stockpile rather than actively buying more.

While the road to Bitcoin’s future value remains uncertain, these scenarios highlight the crucial role of government policy, Federal Reserve decisions, and corporate adoption in shaping the cryptocurrency’s trajectory.
