Binance Blockchain Week Chooses Turkey as Host Destination for Enthusiastic Web3 Community

Binance, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, is extending an open invitation to crypto and blockchain enthusiasts to join in the exploration of Web3’s future at the Binance Blockchain Week in Istanbul, Turkey.

Surprisingly, the bear market, often referred to as “crypto winter,” has led to an accelerated growth of the Web3 ecosystem. Amidst the flattening price tickers, developers and businesses seized the opportunity to focus on building, leading to remarkable innovation in areas such as decentralized finance (DeFi), gaming, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Recognizing the momentum of Web3 development, Binance aims to facilitate discussions that will shape the future of the crypto and blockchain industries. Following the success of previous events in Dubai and Paris in 2022, Binance has chosen Istanbul as the venue for its flagship event, Binance Blockchain Week 2023.

Scheduled for November 8 and 9 at the Divan Kuruçeşme, Binance Blockchain Week 2023 will bring together innovators, policymakers, thought leaders, and blockchain enthusiasts. The event’s two main stages will host around a hundred influential individuals engaged in meaningful discussions on critical Web3 topics. Attendees will have the opportunity to network and collaborate on solutions for the ecosystem while exploring the latest industry innovations, trends, and challenges.

With an expected attendance of over 2,000 people, Binance welcomes Web3 enthusiasts not only from Turkey but also from around the globe. Additionally, a wider audience will have access to the event through Binance Live’s online coverage.

Binance co-founder and chief marketing officer, Yi He, expressed the primary goal of the event, stating that Binance seeks to “continue building the Web3 and blockchain industry together, expanding its potential to improve financial equity and positively impact society as a whole.”

The choice of Istanbul as the event’s location reflects the city’s unique combination of historical significance and forward-thinking innovation. As Turkey’s business hub, Istanbul blends the charm of the old world with a daring embrace of the new. Moreover, Turkey stands out as a leading country in terms of crypto adoption and curiosity.

Serving as a strategic geographical bridge between Europe and Asia, Istanbul has attracted numerous international collaborations in the blockchain space, thanks to its accessibility and established startup ecosystem. Binance has been fully operational in Turkey since 2020 and selected the country to establish its first customer service center in April 2022.

According to Yi He, Turkey plays a crucial role in the global crypto ecosystem, describing it as “a dynamic destination for attendees to learn more about blockchain and be part of the new era of finance as we gather in a leading region of innovation to build for the industry’s future together.”

Tickets for Binance Blockchain Week Istanbul 2023 are now available, with early bird discounts offered to participants eager to immerse themselves in this vibrant and progressive gathering.
